Inner Mongolia New Materials: Steady progress in project testing work
At the construction site of the BDO integrated project of Inner Mongolia 3D New Materials Co., Ltd., engineering vehicles shuttle back and forth, and the staff work nervously and orderly, creating a bustling scene on site.
The project is expected to have a total investment of 13 billion yuan. The current construction project is Phase 1, which includes a production unit for 300000 tons/year of 1,4-butanediol (BDO), 100000 tons/year of biodegradable plastic PBAT, 60000 tons/year of high-end polyether material PTMEG, 720000 tons of formaldehyde, and a supporting unit for an annual production of 360000 tons of acetylene raw material (calcium carbide). At present, the installation of the carbide device and BDO main device in the first phase of the project has been completed and enters the trial production phase. Once all indicator data meets expectations, it can enter the trial production phase. After all projects are put into operation, it is expected to become an industry benchmark with leading scale, quality, energy consumption, and efficiency.
